Colmar, France + the French Vineyards 2017

Colmar, FranceSeptember 1-2, 2017With the freedom of a vehicle, we drove over to Colmar, France.  As soon as September came, the southeast of Germany became very rainy and cold so we figured we needed to go somewhere warm as we didn't have much fall/winter clothes with us. We decided on Colmar, France. Colmar is sometimes known as The little Venice. It is situated around wine-country. Check out the surrounding vineyards. You will be able to capture many beautiful photos without tourists in the back! Colmar has a very well-preserved old town with many architectural landmarks and farmers markets. Explore the markets and cobblestone streets. Take some time walking by the river, lined shops and cafes, you will spend hours exploring. Since I am a photographer, you know we take pictures on every beautiful corner we see. I just cant help myself.
