Gimmelwald, Murren, Lauterbrunnen, SwitzerlandAugust 22, 2017007 SwissSituated in the Swiss Alps is the mountain, Schilthorn, also known as the “007” mountain. The Bond movie, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, was filmed there. We took the “Swiss Skyline” to the top. On your way to the top, there are a few stops along the way. Do not miss out, get your tickets in advance to spend more time at all the stops. We ended up getting our tickets for a later time, but it gave us the perfect opportunity to set up a little picnic. Come prepared, it’s a little chilly at the top, even in August, but you will be mesmerized at the beauty surrounding you. Put your camera down and just look at your surroundings, the green rolling hills, the picturesque towns, and maybe even witness the clouds rolling in. Take a deep breath, and take it all in. This is what makes Switzerland breathtaking.Side note: When I got pregnant with my second child, Mark, all I dreamed of was to come to this spot. I wanted to in the mountains (the Alps to be precise) and I wanted to be cold as we all know how unbearable Florida is, especially in the summer. 18 weeks pregnant in all of these photos. Probably my favorite spot on earth. We will be back again.
