Klosters, SwitzerlandAugust 28, 2017Making our way back to Switzerland, we found a great resort in Klosters. Our hotel windows overlooked the beautiful Swiss landscape. Grab a coffee on the terrace and take it all in. As a perk, the hotel provided free passes to take the gondola up the mountain. Once at the top, you can take a few miles hike or check out the mountain top café. Enjoy your time! If you go on the hike, there is a defined path with benches to rest on and many lookout points along the way. You will see waterfalls, and fantastic views overlooking the valleys and the small Swiss towns below. I know I've said this many times, but Switzerland is forever a favorite of mine.The country of Liechtenstein (bottom of page)From Klosters, we drove to Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein is a principality, what is a principality you ask? Well, it is governed by a prince, not a king. It is between Austria and Switzerland. It is known for its medieval castles sitting on hill tops overlooking valleys. It's a super small country but so beautiful. A few years back we got to enjoy it to the fullest, but this time around we just danced in the rain.
