Nice & Cannes 2017

Nice & Cannes, FranceAugust 24-26, 2017After exploring Switzerland for a bit, we drove through a little part of Italy to reach the French coastal town of Nice. Renting a vehicle and traveling through Europe is our way of traveling. You can zip to the next town, city or country in a matter of hours. We planned to spend one night in Nice but made it two. We got a wonderful hotel that overlooked the town of Nice. Nice is a beautiful coastal town where many European vacationers head to during the summer months. The beach is lined with round rocks, so bring your swimming shoes, you’ll thank me later. After soaking up the sun, we rented a little three wheel “nice car.” We took are “nice car” to the neighboring town of Cannes. Cannes is lined with luxury boutiques and expensive cars, however, we got the attention of many because of our little car! Didnt think we would be so popular but I guess its a new thing in the south of France and we were one of the first to rent it. We made it to the famous red carpet of Cannes. Once we had our moment of feeling like movie stars, we headed back to Nice to spend a lovely evening stroll through town. You will find fine dining at every corner. Seafood is a must when in Nice. And we sure did enjoy our meals.
