JULY 2019 MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA In July, I was in Minnesota to capture a wedding, and Irina asked me to capture some family photos for her while I was in town. It was truly an honor for me as she is a photographer herself and might I add, an amazing one. Irina told she and her husband were celebrating their 12-year anniversary and during the photoshoot she wanted to surprise him with a feet-washing little ceremony. Marriage is hard but beautiful. We go through so much and this was her way of showing her husband love and care. She also got Ben a new wedding band that he's been eyeing. I say this was a pretty romantic little moment."I have set an example that you should do as I have done for you." John 13:15When they arrived to the session, she had everything prepared and walked Ben over. He was obviously very touched and decided to return the love to Irina. He had the kids line up and explained to them what he was doing. It was beautiful to watch, truly a Jesus-like act. After the little ceremony, we captured some family photos and ended the night with a killer sunset.
