May 5, 2020 was our 8th year wedding anniversary. Since we live in Florida, we decided to take a small getaway to Sarasota, Florida. Sometimes a getaway together, is one of the best things you can do for your soul and your relationship. Thats exactly what we decided to do and had the wonderful opportunity to stay at THE MODERN SARASOTA. The design and minimalistic look to this hotel is why we choose to stay here. You feel comfortable and at home. It is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Sarasota. The hotel provides bikes during your stay and we were able to go grab breakfast and lunch on bikes. It felt nice not to use our car almost the entire weekend. We felt relaxed and carefree for the weekend.

The next day, we went over to Anna Marie Island and had a relaxing beach day here as well.
