Toulouse + West Country Side of France

TOULOUSE, FRANCEMARCH 2016Toulouse is the fourth largest city in France. Sitting at a cafe, drinking my latte, I witnessed a constant flow of pedestrians shuffling from the busy street produce market, to the bazaar at the Capitol. From school children rushing to school, to the individuals soaking up the sun, it seemed like today was the day that spring came to the city. It was so vibrant and full of life and color. We continued our journey off the beaten path by taking the scenic route to the west countryside of France. We stopped by the city of Auch, again a very historical town. We walked around and saw the more quiet life of the locals. By now, we have noticed that all throughout the countryside, the vegetation is very unique and herds of sheep roaming the hills of France and Spain. I must admit, I really fell in love with the west of France. One of my favorite hotels we stayed on this trip will be in the little city near Auch. It used to be a big house turned into 14 rooms. So cozy and cute. See for yourself below. Safe to say, we will definitely be planning to come back to the west of France in the future.
