Valencia + Altea, Spain 2016

VALENCIA + ALTEA, SPAINMARCH 2016When we planning this Europe trip in the Spring, we initially assumed the weather would be warmer than it actually was. Since Spain is in the Southern part of Europe. But closer to departure, we realized it was still quite chilly unless we would head even more south. Therefore, for our last days in Spain, we decided to take the drive to Valencia and enjoy some time without our jackets. Valencia has very beautiful modernistic buildings which we had to explore. Although it was our second time back in Valencia, it was just as fun as the first. The next day we decided to make the drive to Altea. A little tiny village nearby on top of a mountain. Altea’s whitewashed house-fronts really characterizes the beach town. It was super beautiful and reminded me of our days in Greece. It was the perfect way to end out 2 weeks in Spain and come home with the most heartfelt memories.
